Day 181 of 365: A Month In Instagram Posts

It's that time of the month - time to see what happened on my Instagram in past 30 days.

1. Okay, so June started out really warm, summery hot even and if I didn't want to cook slowly, the best possible clothing option were skirts. The only problem with these is, that wind tends to lift them a bit too high up... 2. Short but sweet cherry season. My granddad has a cherry tree and then every year in May/June he brings a few buckets around. Last year was a bit of a draught on cherries, but this year I ate so many I almost felt a bit sick. Almost. 3. I don't really have a morning routine or whatever, but a cup of Irish cream cappuccino is a necessary part of my mornings. Preferably on my balcony, soaking up morning sun. 4. Here's a thing - I used to drink a lot of processed juices, with lots of sugar and other things that are not exactly healthy in big (or not so big) amounts. And I wasn't the biggest fan of water. Then, on a click basically, I switched the other way around; now I only drink water (lots of it) (besides my daily dose of tea, occasional smoothie and that cup of coffee from previous picture) and the only juice, that doesn't make me feel like I just drank flavoured coloured water with lots of sugar in it is fresh orange juice. Or the one from the store that claims to be 100% natural. 5. Well, let's put it this way: my brother probably hates me for making him run with me 3-5 times a week. So when he takes a bike instead of running, he's a bit less grumpy. And it means we can take our (my) run a little further. Which then sometimes results in having a 15 minutes break for me to take millions of pictures of nice landscapes. Or him in front of landscapes. Just for a record, he's not too fond of those pictures. I love them. 6. Another perk of running in the evenings - ever changing cloud shapes and sun shining through them, while everything looks like heaven has just opened. Sometimes I'd just stop and staaaare (continues singing that song). 7. Oh oh, I went to see my first musical ever (excitedly moves around in my chair). I got last minute chance to go see Mamma mia! and it was awesome. Although weird, because all songs were in Slovenian. 8. It's ice cream season! I mean, I know generally it's ice cream season all year round, but in summer it just has some kind of special feel to it. And I discovered a new flavour of ice cream. Schwarzwald something. Yum. 9. To finish a month, I went to my best friend and her boyfriend's 'Burger and fest' party, where they basically fed us with delicious burgers. And then added great coffee and dreamy tiramisu into the mix. I rolled back into my car to get home...

Day 180 of 365: Sparkles

Okay, so. Glitter nail varnishes are overrated. At least those ones with large chunks of shiny things in it, I think I have nothing against those tiny sparkles filled nail varnish bottles. Yet.
I found this Avon Opal something top coat in my nail varnish collection today. It was a nice surprise, you know, the kind where you go 'oooo, I forgot I had that, let's use it today!'. The thing was, I got this as a birthday present once, but my nails were too short for me to wear and coloured nail varnish, so I put it away and then kind of forgot about its existence.
So then today I happily painted this top coat above my already existing few layers of colour. The first problem occurred already in the process of painting, because these glitter-y flakes seem to be really hard to be put on properly. Firstly, those chunks sometimes barely come off of the brush, sometimes all of them get on on two square milimeters of your nail, then they allocate in the weirdest form and when you try to straighten things up at least a little bit you push them all towards the end of the nail, so some of them almost fall off. Then if and when you manage to actually make them look a bit nicely spread over your nail, you realise, that your nail now feels like gravel surface. Even if you put another layer of clear top coat over it. But I mean, maybe it's just that I'm used to and most comfortable with smooth finish of a top coat... And don't get me wrong, it does look quite pretty at the end, it's just the process of applying and the final feeling result that really bugs me.
I hope this is not just me being an idiot and not knowing how to put a glitter flakes varnish on properly. Please someone tell me that's not the case?

Day 179 of 365: A Song #8

I don't remember when or where exactly I discovered this song, but I know that I instantly fell in love with it. This one is for times, when you need to relax and take a moment to breathe in. Or just for times when you feel like listening to some calm music.

Day 178 of 365: Burgers

Today was a good day for a burger. I must admit, I'm not a McDonald's fan, I've never eaten any type of McBurger thing. And I've also never eaten a proper, home made, actually good food type of burger. Until today. My lovely best friend decided that she'll stop keeping her boyfriend's cooking just for herself and invited us over for some kind of burger party, where the main part was played by burgers, obviously. They were good. So good. And you could hear how good they were, because there was a complete silence behind the table, you just saw a bunch of people happily eating their burgers.
To top it up, later on I got a coffee and tiramisu. I managed to get a picture of my coffee, but when it came to tiramisu, I already knew how delicious it was, so I kind of didn't have time to snap a photo of it, before it was too late.
I couldn't possibly say that I left the place hungry, more like I was so full, that even my dessert stomach couldn't take any more food. Though I was thinking about making a joke that I'm now off to get a pizza, but then they'd probably kill me for that, so I withheld that comment. And rolled out of the building towards my car.

Day 177 of 365: June Wishlist

Well, this is a bit late isn't it? Should have posted this one at the beginning of the month, not the end... But it's better late than never, right? So here's my June wishlist.

1. This hoverboard thing. I'm watching Casey Neistat daily and for the past few weeks he's been moving around on one of these and I really want one too. More for entertainment than for actual mobility, as I'm not sure how it'd handle the uphill road next to our house.

2. Being on a Greek island rather than at home studying. Need I say more? Didn't think so.

3. This coat, that I have no idea where it's from. I just found it on Pinterest the other day and I know it's the middle of summer, but like I can start singing Christmas songs in July, I can wish for a winter coat at the end of June. And this is also where my idea for shopping clothes for the next season applies.

4. Cute silver rings. I'm a bit sceptical about cheap rings, because I used to have annoyingly green fingers under where the ring was, even if I had soaked the ring with clear nail varnish or anything like that. But I thought I'd give them another try anyways, because they're pretty, so I'm putting this on my wishlist, as a reminder to go and but them.

5. A physical copy of Muse's new album. I'm pretty much in love with it, but I'm now listening to it through the free version of Spotify (and it thinks I'm from UK, because it doesn't work yet in Slovenia), so I can't take it anywhere with me, which is sad.

Day 176 of 365: National Holiday

*picture found on Google*
Today is a statehood day in Slovenia. On this day, 25 June 1991, Slovenia formally declared independence from Yugoslavia. And a few days later armed conflicts started between Slovenian Territorial Defence and Yugoslav National Army as there was 10-days war for Slovenia's independence. They say there was a total 76 victims and lots of material damage. I must say, I watched a short documentary on the war today on TV, and my god there were some psychos with big egos on Yugoslavia's side. So now this really speedy history lesson is over, but the general point is: Happy birthday Slovenia! 24 years old already. While watching that documentary and seeing footage of houses being burned or shot down and dead people lying on the ground after an air raid, my mom was browing through her memories about that time and how she woke up one day and thought there are air planes flying really low, while in reality there were 20-30 tanks driving by the house. And then proceeded to remind me that this was all happening 2 years before I was born. Aren't I a young gal, eh?

Day 175 of 365: Another H&M Nail Varnish

Hey, it's another nail varnish. This one's called Warm sand. These H&M nail varnishes have actually really surprised me, in a very positive way. You only need two coats for it to look god, colours are really nice (not that there are too many, but those that are, are nice), it dries quite fast (if you don't apply too thick coats, obviously). It's a nice summery shade, that I feel I'll fall in love with very quickly (as if I haven't already). The only problem I have with it is the fact it's a really small bottle, only 5 ml. Looks like I'll have to stock up on these beauties...

Day 174 of 365: Pinterest Post #1

Here's another idea for posts on days, when I do nothing or spend a day with a book, learning for my exams. It's a Pinterest post! Where I shall gather my favourite pins, obviously. Let's go.

Day 173 of 365: 1 Down, A Few More To Go

And I bought a new cup! Because why on Earth would you think I have enough already?
Okay, let's start at the beginning. Today I woke up at 8am, lazily got out of bed, caught a bus to uni at 9, got there at 10 and then I waited and waited and waited for an hour and a half before I went in for my exam. Got a 7 at the end, which is not bad at all, considering all the circumstances. So this is one down, a few more to go.
And when it comes to a new cup, well, this new one is for transporting your coffee/tea around. I know I already have one and I love it dearly, but the one I already have is made of porcelain. Now, I'm off to seaside on July 13th and it's basically a job more than a holiday, I'm going to watch over a group of kids. That requires a lot of energy and then a need for something that will relax me in the evenings. Obviously this means loads of coffee during those 10 days and loads of tea. For which we have those small cups already there waiting to be used. But they're waaaaaay too small for my tea preferences. And because I'm to scared my porcelain to-go mug will break there, I bought a plastic cup for my cappuccino and tea today. I'll be a happy kid for those 10 days.

Day 172 of 365: Favourite Five - Movies

Okay, here we go with another favourite five. This time it's about movies. I know I said in last favourite five that I'd always pick books over movies and that's kind of true. I mean my list of 'movies I've already seen' is probably veeery short compared to everyone else. But lately I do find it lovely, to be able to put on a movie in the evening and snuggle under a blanket with a cup of tea. And 5 of my favourite movies that I've seen so far are:

1. Sorcerer's Apprentice - Nicholas Cage, Jay Baruchel, a little bit (a lot) of magic and Secrets by OneRepublic. Great combination.

2. Mamma Mia! - I think I already said that I'm in love with this movie a few days ago, when I was talking about the musical version. I don't know if there's anyone out there who can exceed Merly Streep. And well, let's be honest, Dominic Cooper is quite an eye candy.

3. Astérix & Obélix: Mission Cléopâtre - The only question to be asked here is: Who doesn't like Astérix and Obélix?

4. Kingsman: The Secret Service - This is the newest addition to this list, as I've been meaning to watch it for ages, but was always putting it off. When I finally got around to see it, it jumped straight into my favourite movies category. It's not the usual american movie, where all the good guys survive, which I realised in the middle of the movie and that left me in the state 'how the hell did that just happen?!' for a few minutes. Also, I found rainbow coloured explosions quite amusing. Is that weird?

5. Big Hero 6 - And the award for the cutest movie ever goes to Big Hero 6. I'm sure now everyone wants an inflatable big squishy robot in their life. Who acts like a totally drunk person when low on charge, but saves the day on all other occasions.

Day 171 of 365: A Song #7

There's this thing that happens to me every now and again - a song gets stuck in my head and there's nothing I can do to get it out. Okay, it might happen a lot and it may or may not happened again today, after I've seen Mamma mia! musical yesterday. Of course I had to watch the movie again this morning because of that and now my favourite song from there is stuck in my head. So these days you can hear the song playing in the background at almost all times and see me wandering around the house while humming the song quietly. But I can dance with you honey, if you think it's funny...

Day 170 of 365: Mamma Mia!

It really is a bit gloomy outside these days, as the weather man predicted, but today's evening was brightened up by a bunch of singing people.
Yesterday I got a chance to go see musical Mamma mia today and since I'm already a fan of the movie, the decision to say yes to this invitation was a no brainer really. The entire show was amazing, I left the theatre feeling content with how everything turned out, even though it did feel a bit weird listening to songs being translated to Slovenian. And after seeing Meryl Streep, I don't think anyone will ever reach the standards she set.
Otherwise, there was only one thing I had problem with and that was the fact, that the play was in open theatre and it's cold outside, so we were freezing a bit, especially from the second half on. But then dancing to Dancing queen did help with warming up, so at the end of the day I have nothing to complain about.

Day 169 of 365: Dvor Tacen

I went for an afternoon coffee and cake with a friend today, to this place called Dvor Tacen. We went for a ferrero rocher and chocolate cakes, with a nice latte macchiato. And it was good. Maybe a bit too much chocolate in my cake for my taste, because even though I like it, for me there is such a thing as too much chocolate.
We chatted away about some workholiday (we're going to Pacug together, so it's part work part holiday really) stuff that we needed to clear before tomorrow's meeting and laughed at our crazy ideas (that might even go through at the end, who knows).
Actually, just sitting there in a nice tree shadow, forgetting about uni work for a few hours was kind of refreshing. I need to do that more often.

Day 168 of 365: A Little Disaster

For today, I'll leave you with what was my Snapchat story yesterday, when I learned yet again, what a dangerous maneuver having a full cup of tea next to a book, can be. Especially if you're a bit clumsy like me... Let's not go into details, just a report, that book is still alive and well, with one page now feeling like a part of a really old book (which is quite cool to be honest). The cup of tea in question was also drank quite quickly after the incident. Maybe I should point out that the cup was just slightly tilted - enough to soak one page of the book, but was also caught a 0.23 seconds after it started moving, so majority of tea was still in the cup, thankfully.
And don't think that I learned a lesson from this, I'll definitely keep on bringing my tea right next to my books. I also like to live dangerously, or whatever it is they say.

Day 167 of 365: Drones

Okay, can we please take a moment to appreciate Muse's new album, Drones? For the second time in my life (I think), it happened that I absolutely love every song that is on an album. You know how there's usually a song or two that you always skip while listening to an album? Well, this didn't happen here, I have had an entire album on repeat throughout the day for the past few days and I'm far from being sick of any of the songs. I do still have favourites - Defector, Mercy and Drones have the top three spots - but there's no song I could say is my least favourite here. If you, by any chance, haven't heard any songs from Drones yet (where do you live??), go and give them a listen. Perfect for any mood and any time of the day.

Day 166 of 365: Water Spring

Here's today's pit stop from our running adventure. Not that far away from our house, next to the fields, there lies a water spring. And water that comes out here is actually warm. You can't feel it being too warm during summer, but if you visit this place during winter, it's pretty obvious. This spring then fills up a little pool that's next to it. This whole scene is a really nice and relaxing place, when empty. Not so nice and relaxing, when people come here with cars and drink and party and are generally really loud. We (me and my brother) were lucky enough to come to an empty place today, so we decided to interrupt our run for a bit and just relax there and take a few pictures. I might or might not have almost just cancelled the run and sit there on a bench for the next few hours...

Day 165 of 365: It Rained

It really did, I swear. Heavily. For about half an hour. But after two weeks of non-stop sunshine and around 30°C throughout the day, the ground is so warm now, that the road looks almost like nothing happened an hour after the last raindrop fell.
But damn, it felt good. The rain, I mean. Today was one of those days, when there wasn't actually much sun - because of layers of clouds - but it was hot and humid and thank god for the wind, that made everything a bit more tolerable. Then finally, in the evening, the clouds tore and let the rain and cold air upon us. That sounds like something from a fairytale or something... no? Only me?
Meteorologists are now predicting at least a week of not so hot temperatures, which would be kind of great, but at the same time looking at weather forecast, I doubt it'll actually cool down... I'm not really sure whether I like it or not... Because, well, it's summer, bring on sun and high temperatures, but at the same time, can it rain a bit for another four weeks, so it's easier for me to study?

Saturday, 13 June 2015

Day 164 of 365: 2048

I don't know about you, but for me, spending hours in books without any breaks, is mission impossible. So during my study breaks I usually end up on Youtube, or playing games on my phone. There are basically 4 games that I find myself playing: Solitaire, Candy Crush, 1010! and 2048. The first two are pretty basic and everyone knows them, I also already talked about 1010!, while I don't think I mentioned 2048 before and I used to be obsessed with this game last year. It's basically just putting together tiles with same numbers and try to get to the 2048 tile. It is quite addicting, once you start playing it and you fall into it, it's hard to stop and put your phone down...

Day 163 of 365: Morning Coffee Mug Mini Photoshoot

As of March 25th, I now have designated morning coffee mug. I know the exact date, because it's Mother's day in Slovenia that day and this year I bought my mum two coffee mugs, one for her and one for me, so we can have matching mugs for our morning coffee ritual. I say ritual, it's more her way of getting me out of bed on days when I don't have classes, when she calls me and says 'c'mon get up and make us a cop of coffee' and then we drink it while chatting about everything. Needless to say it still takes me too long to get out of bed. However today was one of those days, when she had to go out of the house before I was in fully functioning state, so I had my coffee by myself, while scrolling through my Bloglovin' feed. And it was one of those days, when I realised, that morning coffee mug gets empty way too fast for my liking. Then I figured I'd share that finding with the world and went on a mission to take a nice photo of said designated mug. It turned out to be quite a little photo session, with lots of similar photos - of course - but since nothing more exciting happened today, I guess I'll just share those.

Day 162 of 365: A Song #6

I listened to BBC Radio 1's Internet takeover I think, where they played music from their Big Weekend. The first song was It's time from Imagine Dragons and that reminded me of a cover of this song, that I discovered on Youtube once. It's from Peter Hollens and Tyler Ward and it's basically made without any instruments, except human voice and some clapping. And it sounds really amazing. I can't really decide if I prefer this version to the original or not... I probably do though.

Day 161 of 365: Study, Study, Study

Here we are, the exam period. Time of painful sitting behind books 24/7 for a month. The thing is, I love my course, I really do. It is quite interesting overall, but the problem is, as it is with every course, that it comes with stuff that are boring as hell, but you still need to push through them.
I always lacked motivation for studying. I got through primary school with mostly A's without even opening a notebook. In high school I was always lazy - I studied a bit when there was absolutely no other choice if I didn't want to fail - and managed to also get through without any big problems. Then came university. A place, that taught me (and is still teaching me in fact), that you won't get anywhere in life without hard work. So now, when the time comes I devote my life to books. And when I need motivation to work, I go and watch Casey Neistat's videos.
So, I am now entering the study zone. If posts get a bit weird and not readable, we know what to blame. I might still have some flashes of non-boring content, but for a month I need to focus on passing this year. Wish me luck.

Day 160 of 365: Summer Storms

We've had a solid week and a half or two of hot weather around here. Basically it almost feels like with June appearing on calendar, summer turned a switch on and said 'well here I am, now deal with me'. And with summer, there come summer storms. Those storms, that just appear after a sunny day, with loads of lightning and thunder going on all around. Now these are one of my favourite parts of summer. There's something in watching lightning from my balcony and listening to thunder that strangely calms me down. One of the best memories from last summer was the last night of my job at the seaside, when we were just sitting on the beach, late at night, watching crazy lightning going on in the middle of the sea. At that moment I thought 'well, I could just sit here and watch this forever'. I wasn't even exaggerating.
And, if you're somewhere inside, while watching storms going on, the third calming factor is light rain. Not the one, where you feel like it'll wash away the ground, but the one, that's barely audible, just quietly rustling in the background. Like a soundtrack to a content life.

Well, that was a little flow of thought for today (can you tell I'm not really good at it?)... I'd insert a picture of a lightning, but sadly, I have none. I swear there used to be a video of lightnings happening around 15 km from our house, that I watched from my balcony once, but God knows, where that video is now.
I'll now go to bed with that soundtrack of light rain quietly playing in the background. (How poetic was that?) Goodnight.

Day 159 of 365: Favourite Five - Books

I don't know if I mentioned this already, but I used to be a big book worm. Throughout primary school there were many nights, when I'd sit in bed, with only a bed lamp turned on, reading till 3 am. Then I got to high school and, I don't really know why, in the evenings I was a lot of times too tired to pick up a book. Even reading during the day got really reduced, because of all the 'I need to study, I need to read school books, not the ones I'd rather get lost into' - even though then usually the internet happened and studying became a distant memory.
However, I am now trying to read more again, and even if books were a bit pushed back in my priorities for some time, they still were and are my favourite way to get into an imaginary world. I mean, if you asked me to pick between books and movies, I'll always say books. Movies are also nice, but books are better. Books allow you to make your own pictures of characters and situations in your head, while movies have all of that pretty much already sorted out.
Now here I have 5 of my favourites so far:

1. C.S. Lewis - The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. First I saw this movie, then I saw the first movie and after that I went to library and took home all 7 books, packed them in a suitcase and read them all in a week I spent in Greece that summer. I really liked all of them, but I think Caspian was my favourite. Well, that was 7 years ago and I read them in Slovenian. Since then I'm on a hunt for English versions, to have on my book shelf. I only found Prince Caspian and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader so far. I'm still searching for the other 5.

2. Maria Gripe - The Dung-Beetle Flies At Dusk. On picture above is a Slovenian version of this, I think I read it when I was around 10 years old. I might need to read it again, because I remember it being about a few kids discovering something, some old Egyptian statue (I love everything that includes ancient Egypt, Greece or Rome) and the fact that it was really interesting.

3. Oscar Wilde - The Picture of Dorian Gray. This one was actually a part of studying plan in high school, but we never read the entire piece, just talked about it and the writer. And once our Slovenian teacher played us the first part of the movie, when we had and hour to kill. Since then I had this book on my to-read list. And I was one happy kid, when I found it in an antique bookshop. Loved the story, and I didn't really mind a picture of Ben Barnes as Dorian Gray in the back of my mind, to be honest...

4. Gillian Flynn - Gone Girl. The book e v e r y o n e was talking about. Or is talking about. I'm sure that even if you didn't read the book or seen the film, you know what's going on in it. I loved the book. I loved that I didn't know how it'll end until the end, I kind of loved how the ending wasn't what you'd expect (although it's quite a fucked up ending), I loved how for the first half of the book you have this picture of everything in your head and then it just turns upside down. I then saw the movie and I didn't really like it at all.

5. Stieg Larsson - Millennium trilogy. In this case I can't just pick one of the books. I have to include all three of them. If you don't know what's going on, it's about this girl, who is a computer genious and a journalist, each of them with not so brilliant past and all that. I read that a couple of years ago and since then I'm trying to forget what happened, so I can see the movies. I think I'm now at that point, when I can watch the movies and not think 'this is NOT what happened in the books' all the time.

Day 158 of 365: Late Night

We got to that part of the year, when the only time you're not boiling hot is either under cold shower or outside from 10 pm till probably around 6 am. It's 11 pm right now and the temperature dropped to pleasant 23°C, which makes it perfect for sitting on my balcony in sweatpants and a hoodie, with my laptop on a little table, spending time on the internet or watching movies. It's really calm, I can only hear faint sounds of cars driving in the distance, on a rare occasion one drives by our house, there's a sound of river somewhere in the background as well, a million stars are shining in the sky (that I'd really like to take a picture of, but only dark sky will show, unfortunately), there are Muse singing in my headphones. The only complaint I have is that street light in front of our house could shine a little less bright, or maybe even turn off and if mosquitoes could get as far away as possible, that would also be great, thanks. I might actually need to get back inside, if I don't want to be bitten and/or eaten alive. My foot is already very itchy...

Day 157 of 365: June Playlist

It's time for June playlist! In this edition we have a Slovenian song, new Muse stuff (I'm so in love with this album and it's not even out yet), a few Eurovision pieces, a bit of new discoveries, some old favourites and songs that make me feel like it's summer, no matter when I listen to them. There might be items added throughout the month, maybe. Now excuse me while I listen to Defector and Mercy on repeat for the next week.

Day 156 of 365: Moisturizing Cuticle Cream

Okay, I have this terrible case of dry cuticles. And I've been trying different hand cremes, but none of them seemed to work. Maybe it's because I haven't stuck to it for long enough. However, today I stopped by the Essence stand and picked up this moisturizing cuticle cream. With vitamin e, panthenol and rich oils. I don't know what most of these are. But the cream smells really nice. I will now use this for some time and then come back with a report on it. Hopefully. If I don't forget.

Day 155 of 365: Ouch

I bought these H&M fabric sneakers late last year, with an intention to wear them a lot through late spring/summer this year. They look really cute and seem perfect for hot weather. Now, I pulled them out of the wardrobe yesterday, put them on and then made the mistake of walking way too much throughout the day in these. With only those tiny socks you can't see on. Maybe I should wear normal socks, to make the situation better, but since yesterday I didn't do that, I now have quite painful wounds or shoes rubbing into my feet for entire day. I'll definitely put on normal socks next time I wear them... When my feet won't hurt anymore. Until then, I shall live on in my Converse All Stars, like I did up to this day.

Day 154 of 365: Snickers? Nope, it's Muahaha!

Okay, here's my highlight of the day story:
Absentmindedly I walked to one of the vending machines at my faculty today. I wanted a chocolate and the one in Snickers colours looked quite appealing. So I pressed the number and waited for my chocolate to fall out. Only when I picked it up, I realised, the name of the chocolate bar wasn't really Snickers, it was a Muahaha! Snickers Special Edition. With the little monster from their commercial printed on the side (I love this monster, the commercial with the monster is my favourite). Looking back to the vending machine, the rest of chocolates in that row were normal Snickers. I hope mine wasn't the only example of special edition, because then I'd feel really bad for throwing that wrapper away... However, the quiestion is, Snickers, what's going on?

Day 153 of 365: New Hair

This is actually a little bit boring, because every time I come from hairdressers, I usually just have my roots done and that means I don't really look different at all. I mean, I do look different, because my roots are dyed, but I think I'm the only person who sees that... So yeah, I went to the hairdressers today and now I no longer have dark roots. Which is nice. I now look blonder when my hair is up in a bun. Other than that, nothing drastic happened. I'm a very safe person, when it comes to haircuts. The only 'drastic' thing I did was when I first dyed my hair blonde. And even that wasn't as drastic as it could be, since my natural hair colour is on the lighter side of brown shades anyways. I did think about going red or purple a few times, that would be quite cool. But the thought of cutting my hair short or anything like that scares me. I have tiny little ideas about getting a short bob every now and again, but I'd miss my hair too much... So for now it'll stay the way it is and I'll keep listening to my dad saying 'Were you really at the hairdressers? You don't look different at all.' every time I come home with my 'new' hairdo.

Day 152 of 365: Soundtrack For Studying

Okay, so exam period is coming up with the speed of light and today I found the soundtrack to accompany my time with my head stuck in piles of books. An instrumental one, because if I listen to songs with lyrics, I'll just automatically start to sing and lose all my concentration. So, here is the Lord Of The Rings soundtrack for now, when I change it, I'll let you know.
