After getting that hot chocolate the other day, me and my friends stopped by a bookshop. Now, I have been quite a book worm in elementary school, but then neglected my love for reading through high school years. I think the only thing I actually read in those 4 years - apart from books we needed to read for school - was the Millennium series, which I got for my 18th birthday (loved that) and... maybe some other little books that I don't really remember.
However, I had a special book in my mind, when I stepped into that bookshop. Of course I meant to buy one and ended up walking out with three. The first one being 'Wreck This Journal' by Keri Smith. I saw this in Carrie Fletcher's video a day earlier and I knew I had to get it. Along with the big one, I got a small version of it, 'Wreck This Journal Everywhere'. It's not exactly the same as the normal version and since I couldn't decide which one to get, I got both. Same thing happened to my best friend that I was with, so now we have this idea of exchanging our journals every once in a while and wreck them for each other. We'll see how that turns out.
For the final book I picked up 'The Peculiar Life of a Lonely Postman' by Denis Thériault. I was already eyeing this one up the last time I visited the place but ended up buying Gone Girl. And I know you must not judge a book by it's cover, but this one is just so pretty. Also, the short summary at the back cover sounds nice, it should be a good read. I'll try to report back with my thoughts when I finish it.
